About Me

Me 2My name is Rebecca. I have been a writer since the age I could put sentences together on a page. I am growing as a person and as a writer, but I have not seen enough of the world yet.

I am a Renaissance woman. I believe in being well-rounded, and one of my constant life goals is continuing to be that way. I enjoy literature, poetry, movies, cultures, art, philosophy, psychology, sociology, music, and history. As time goes on I discover more interests, and that makes life richer for me.

While writing may be an independent art form, I wish to share my thoughts, in hopes that they impact someone, somewhere.

  1. “…I have not seen enough of the world yet.” is something I will likely think until the day I no longer see the world at all. I look forward to keeping up with your writings.

  3. Hi Rebecca – Thanks for following me – I’d like to follow you also.
I call myself a Renaissance woman too – which in my case means I dabble in everything and master none – but have a good time when I am not spreading myself too thin.

    1. You’re welcome! And thank you so much for checking out my blog. 🙂 I agree that it can be tricky sometimes to juggle lots of different things we’re interested in. I always try to find some sort of balance.

  4. More interests certainly does make life more richer. I really like your writing style and I look forard to seeing more of your posts coming through. You yourself are a inspiration Rebecca. Keep winning. Steve 🙂

  5. Hi Rebecca! I would email you, but I cannot find an email through which to contact you, so I am commenting here…I hope that is okay. I was wondering if you would like to be this week’s guest on a podcast I maintain with Kenneth Justice at culturemonk.com called Kenny & Kylie. Either way, please send me an email at embracingthejourneyofkylie@gmail.com and let me know! Look forward to hearing from you! – Kylie

  7. Can I ask why you mis-spelled the word human in your blog title? Does it by chance have anything to do with feminist teachings that men are bad? Just wonder…….

    1. No, it doesn’t mean men are bad! The title of my blog actually came from the title of my Senior Writing Project from college, and it was based on a poem I wrote. The poem was a play on words and spellings of words.

  8. Hello Rebecca! Welcome to the infinite world of blogging and bloggers! The first thing you’ll quickly realize is that 24-hours in a day is no where NEAR enough time to blog yourself AND read all the other wonderful, powerful, insightful blogs around the world, not just in the U.S.! 😛

Thanks for stopping by mine! Enjoy! Warm wishes to you and your writing and reading adventures!

  10. Woof, just came over to your blog, and I’m blown over. Being just a teenager and of course, being new to the mini universe that is WordPress, I’ve just begun exploring and of course, thanks for visiting my blog, I haven’t begun reading much on your blog yet, but I guess i’ll just get down to that right now, seems to be a dish worth devouring!
    😀

  11. Rebecca, I’m still pretty new to WordPress and blogging, but I’ve enjoyed the articles I’ve read on your Website. You have a clear style of summarizing your opinion and conclusions based on multiple sources. You write about things that generate a great deal of discussion, indicating that you are aware of what interests people, both in general and with respect to current trends. I look forward to following you and seeing what you have to say in the future.
